Gypsum (Mined)

Gypsum works well on high pH soils, especially those high in magnesium. Gypsum lowers magnesium, improves soil structure, assists in remediation of clay aging, provides a good source of sulfur, and provides a flush of available calcium for plant absorption, which improves fruit quality and storability. The mined gypsum we stock is a powdery material that gives a fast response. Commonly used at 400 lbs. per acre but can be applied at rates up to 1200 lbs.
